Swan Update......
Well as most of you know I have been one very unhappy boy. Lot & Lots & Lots of crying and screaming and being generally grumpy and in pain, BUT..........................Mummy booked me in at the doctors again (I seem to go every week, sometimes more than once) and Daddy took me. He got cross with the doctors who finally listened (afer he told them you never question a Mothers instinct)and I am now off formula with dairy in it. Yes I am on Soy formula and WOW!!!!! I am such a happy boy, I love to play under my play gym, I smile heaps and go to sleep without much of a fuss. I no longer have a sore tummy, I just feel so good :)
What a relief for Mummy & Daddy.
I do have to have lots of cream on my skin now and it gets added to my baths as my skin is a little sensitive and looks very red at the moment, but the cream means I get a massage 4 times a day!! (Hmmmm, do I want it to get better??? I Loooove all these massages I'm getting).
Today I went to Emma's place with Mummy, I slept through most of it. Wow Emma is babbling heaps, I have some catching up to do :)
Tomorrow I am going to Mummy's work xmas picnic and on Sunday I am going to Coffee groups xmas BBQ, so I have a busy weekend. Then, guess what everyone it's nearly Xmas!
Oh I get to see the specialist before Xmas for my Hernia, so fingers crossed everyone, I might be completly health in no time at all. Yipee :)

Mummy got me this cool Bumbo seat, I love being able to sit up and watch the world go by.

My great Aunty Sandra & Uncle Colin came down from Rotorua to see me, I just love having cuddles from Aunty Sandra. Great Uncle Kevin also came for a visit.

Good morning everyone,
This morning Mummy played with the camera, don't you think I look handsome :)
Over the weekend Mummy & Daddy discovered I probably have silent reflux, finally they work out why I scream! I don't actually vomit very often but it comes up my wee throat and I swollow it, boy does it hurt. Now they add infant gaviscon to my bottles and problem fixed. Yipee.
I have decided to give them another challenge though, that is sleeping. Yep, I have decided that sleeping is meant to be hard and therefore I will grizzle, then cry and then scream until one of them comes in an picks me up. After about 5 minutes I settle and they put me back to bed (Grrr) so I wait a few minutes to trick them into thinking I'm asleep before starting the process again. Mummy & Daddy are not impressed with me and sometimes poor mummy gets very upset. Eventually I am so exausted from playing this game that I fall asleep. I think over the next few days I might get bored of this game and just go to sleep when I am meant to.
I have started to smile a lot more now and every now and then I make a gurgle/babble noise. It won't be long before I make lots of interesting noises.
This afternoon Mummy is taking me for a long walk, Frank Kits Park to the light house around the bays and back again.
I'm alseep now, I played my game for 45 minutes this morning. Mummy is now sorting my clothes as I have grown again. I am now wearing 3mth - 6mth clothing and some of the 3 mth clothes are too small. Poor Mummy & Daddy just can't keep up with me, I think my drawers will be empty again until they get me clothes that fit! Hopefully it's a hot summer and I can just live in my Nappy :)

I just wanted to say a very BIG thank you to everyone who has given me some wonderful gifts. Mummy will get around to sending out thank you cards but please give her some time. I have grown up so fast I am nearly 2 months old!!! I can hold my head up, sometimes smile and I love having a bath in the big bath with Daddy.
Already I have had two ear infections and a virus at the same time! After a few very horrible days and lots and lots of cuddles with Mummy & Daddy I am all better. I am nearly 6kg and wearing clothes for 3month olds.
I love to go for a walk in the buggy, especially with my friend Emma who lives up the road. Mummy is hoping Emma might teach me how to sleep, she sleeps all night! I think my Mummy still needs to experience broken sleep so I'll continue to have my bottle at midnight, 4am and 6am. I have been kind enough to stop my 2am bottle though.
For the next couple of weeks I won't be going out much as Mummy & Daddy are trying hard to let me get into my routine. If they take me out & about all the time then I just get confused.
Next week I'm having my injections. I couldn't have them when I was 6 weeks because I was sick.
Guess what, Mummy put me to bed half an hour ago and i'm asleep without any crying. Yippee.

Crying myself to sleep
I sure know how to upset my Mummy. She just has to harden up, us little babies cry to get to sleep. I will get better at putting myself to sleep & one day I might not cry at all. Wouldn't that be a treat for Mummy & Daddy.
Now I'm 7 weeks 2 days old My routine is soooo important.
My routine is on my door for everyone to see. That way when I'm sleeping or crying as I do to get myself to sleep visitors & family can follow it too.
