This is what happens when mummy naps

"Marcus naughty Mummy, naughty Marcus" Marcus showed me his salt creation on the couch. This is what he got up to when I took a 5 min rest and had my eyes closed. Oops!! Below he lined up items from the pantry on the bookcase. He was a busy boy in a short space of time :)

Pontipines

The short red lines are the pontipines from Iggle Piggle. Marcus took great delight in drawing these and telling us all about them. (pontipines are VERY short people on Iggle Piggle)

"the wiggles"

Marcus drew the wiggles today. He LOVES his drawing andd will spend ages doodling away with his pens and paper.

Building my rail yard

Our clever boy constructed this crane while we were in the kitchen cooking dinner. For 21 months I think that is an awesome effort! :)

Today I was not well :(

Typical photo for today. Marcus spent most of his awake time lying on the floor hald asleep.

All was quiet at 8am when I came out to the lounge to find a sick wee boy had fallen asleep on the floor! A trip to the doctors once he woke up told us sore ears, sore throat, temp and a VERY horrible virus :(

Oriental Bay Park

"ooh water, ooh wet" Marcus explores the water play area at Oriental Bay park.

Puddles.........."A Oh Mummy, shoes wet" Splash, splash, splash. We should have taken gumboots but hey, what's a bit of water. Marcus found every puddle there was (& there were heaps!) and made sure that every inch of his shoe was covered. He had a lot of fun in the process :)
