9 days old

Some awake time after a daddy massage. I'm so relaxed.

I like to sleep with my hands out. Mummy & Daddy wish I looked like this at 10pm, 11pm, 12pm, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am........ You guessed it, I don't sleep at night!

Marcus' art talents

Olivers first bath

Oliver loved his bath, he was so relaxed and even enjoyed lying in the sun while getting dried and dressed afterwards.

Marcus & his drawing talents

Marcus thought the box the new buggy came in was fantastic for drawing on. Marcus is a creative wee boy :)

the dummy is short lived. Oliver has not really taken to it but we do try when nothing else will settle him.

The Newborn Hearing Test

Oliver Anthony Swan - 20 August 2010

Oliver was born at 4.18am via emg. c section after a long and hideous 17 hour labour with almost no pain relief as Gas made mummy sick and she reckoned it smelt like smelly feet!
Date: 20 August 2010
Time: 4.18am
Weight: 3.5kg
Head: 36cm
We had an AMAZING midwife who put up with a lot of flack (as did the poor Doctor and Anaesthetist when they finally came in at abour 3.30am). The epidural was the BEST thing that happened followed by the arrival of Oliver.
Daddy was AMAZING too and did a fantastic job in a difficult situation. It is very hard to see someone in so much pain and have no ability to stop it!
Marcus is a fantastic big brother. He has coped amazingly well with everything and likes to give Oliver "cunnles" (cuddles) and "kiss, Kiss".
We are all home now and settling into life as a family of 4. Nights are pretty rough at the moment, Oliver seems to think that it is screaming time between feeds so sleep is minimal and then by the morning Marcus is refreshed and ready to go for the day.
I now remember the hellish first weeks when Marcus was born, I keep telling myself that we just need to get to that magic 6 week mark and things will get easier! :)
To Gran, Pop Pop, Nana, and Aunty Hayley, thank you so much for all your Love and help. We can not thank you enough.
All our Love
